Every October, Open House New York opens doors (literally) to hundreds of notable sites across the five boroughs for one weekend. This year OHNY will offer a mix of open-access and ticket festivals, all celebrating “design, culture, and civic investment.”
OHNY 2024, taking place October 18 - 20, will open spaces of architectural and cultural significance that are normally inaccessible to New Yorkers, providing a behind-the-scenes look at NYC's infrastructure and systems. Explorers will have a hundreds of sites to choose from, ranging from single rooms, factories, and public spaces to entire buildings, blocks, and waterways. Previous events included sites like 3 World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Building 77, the Woolworth Building, and The Metropolitan Opera.

While most of the sites are open access and free, some require an advance reservation and small fee where there are security or space constraints.
