8 Spruce is a modern classic, standing high above the rest in its artful details and thoughtful, yet unique, deconstructivism design. From its steel clad, 76-story façade to the use of abundant natural light within its apartments, 8 Spruce is a striking masterpiece of architectural design where artful living meets practicality and purpose. Gehry's innovative approach to space planning and design is evident throughout the building, making it the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere at the time of construction, and a timeless icon in the New York City Skyline. 8 Spruce is also the previous winner of the renowned Emporis Skyscraper Award, an award for architectural excellence regarding the design of buildings and their functionality. Only two other New York City skyscrapers have won the award, which is open to the entire world.
REFINED INTERIORS
8 Spruce’s thoughtful design extends beyond the exterior of the building into the stunning interiors as well. Each luxurious apartment home reflects Gehry’s inimitable vision, from the soaring bay windows that envelop you in the cityscape down to the deco-inspired doorknobs. Each unique floor plan utilizes the organic shape of the exterior to create one-of-a-kind spaces for leisure and floor-to-ceiling windows adorned with solar shades that filter light and offer privacy without obscuring the spectacular views.
